Highlights of VIC Activities and Services

Our members are making a difference...

Food & Hypothermia Relief

Both Rising Hope and INCA Relief are members of Ventures In Community. Rising Hope’s Hypothermia Shelter houses up to 24 overnight guests from December through March and its fellowship hall is open daily for lunch. INCA Relief provides food, clothing, health care and other services in the area.

VIC-HOP Volunteer Support

Ventures in Community members provide volunteers to staff VIC's Hypothermia Outreach Program (VIC-HOP) at Rising Hope Methodist Mission Church. From December through March, volunteers provide and serve dinner and breakfast and server as overnight chaperones. The program is administered by New Hope Housing.
