Fairfax County is scheduled to relocate the Franconia Governmental Center  at 6121 Franconia Road to a new facility in Kingstowne in 2026. Once the new Franconia Governmental Center is completed, Fairfax County proposed converting the old property into as many as 120 rental housing units for working households.
